After Europe left South Africa, the country excelled in placing a democratic government. In 1994 they had their first non-racial elections. Then in 1996, the Archbishop went through the human rights crimes co They still have issues with their economy, but who doesn't? Really, the way in which their economy heads is a political decision; whether they create more taxes and other political options.
 
Background
South Africa, located on the very most southern tip of Africa, has gone through many hardships. in 1652, South Africa is claimed but the Dutch. Then in 1795, the British seize the colony from the Dutch, but then returned in 1803; only to be ceded to the British in 1806. In 1852, the British allow partial self-government. Then in 1867, diamonds are found in Kimberly, South Africa. In 1902 Transvaal and the Orange Free State become self-governing colonies of the British Empire. Then in 1910, the Orange Free State, Transvaal, and South African Colonies all become one country, the Union of South Africa. in 1948, Apartheid is brought into laws in the Union of South Africa. Apartheid laws were revoked in 1991. Then in 1994, the DSA had their first democratic election.
